Les Kenyans qui travaillent dans des projets de construction des routes executés par les Chinois protestent contre les bas salaires et les mauvais traitements subis aux mains de leurs patrons Chinois !
Despite the presence of several dozen ongoing Chinese infrastructure construction projects in kenya, protests by local staff are almost unheard of. certainly not appearing in the national press.
I wonder if anyone is/has researched Chinese labour relations in Congo?

Protesting road workers paralyse traffic in Nakuru
The protesters blocked the road at the Soilo-Njoro turnoff, paralysing traffic early morning
MONDAY AUGUST 1 2016
Protesting workers of a Chinese road construction firm in Nakuru caused a traffic build-up on the Nakuru-Eldoret-Kampala highway on Monday morning.
The China Railways Engineering Group construction workers downed their tools to protest poor pay and harassment by their Chinese supervisor.
The protesting workers blocked the road at the Soilo-Njoro turnoff, paralysing traffic in the early morning.
They were later dispersed by police, who cleared the road. The workers then went to demonstrate outside the construction company's offices.
The Chinese company was awarded a Sh2.7 billion contract by the Kenya National Highways Authority to build three interchanges along the northern corridor in a World Bank-funded project.
The interchanges are at the Mau Summit, Njoro and Nyahururu turn-offs.
The tender was awarded in February and construction was to be completed in 15 months.
